January 22nd. With no racing on a Sunday now we are getting a lot of owners visiting the kennels to walk their dogs even the snow yesterday didn't put them off and we were busy up to 3 o'clock. An early start today at the kennels but at least we aren't frozen up as we were yesterday, we have thirteen runners tonight on the Hove card, with our best chance being Spirit Juliette, I would like to wish the new owners of Music Major good luck in their first race as owners, I know there will be a big crowd of them going...

January 18th. It's been a very hectic morning with all the day to day jobs, pups to worm and getting ready to take dogs to the schooling track and dogs to get ready for tonight at Hove. January 17th. It is always nice when you get new owners coming into the kennels and I'm really pleased for Jason and Paul who brought Riverside Prince, Prince is the first dog they have owned and since buying him he's won his first two races so lets hope that continues!!! January 16th. Today we have thirteen runners at Hove and it's impossible to fancy anything strong with the going -80 at rials yesterday, I was at Central park and they gave the going -120 and it should have been -200, the track staff struggled to get the sprint traps onto the track it was that soft. January 15th. Yesterday was a busy day with all the owners over to see their dogs a good laugh was had by all. Today we have the usual trial meeting at Hove and also we have Sporting Ranger having a hurdle trial at Central Park in preparation for the Springbok....

Sunday 14th. Apologies for no blog yesterday but it was very busy at the kennels and we had new owners visiting for the first time. Last night we had two winners Riverside Topaz and the very impressive Kesboro Arlo, he has now won five of his last six runs and gone from A8 and will now be in A3, he recorded a great time last night...

January 11th. I was up early this morning collecting dogs from the transporter from Ireland and was back letting dogs out in the dark!!
